Gittleman and the Community Association Institute of Minnesota (CAI-MN)

For nearly 30 years, Gittleman has provided leadership in community association management; pioneering many of the management practices that have become standards in community association management. This tradition continued in 2010 as Mark Gittleman served as President of the Minnesota Chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI-MN), our industry trade association.

In 2010, CAI-MN continued to strengthen its Professional Management Development Program (PMDP). CAI’s training and certification helped ensure that a well-educated manager population is equipped to serve Minnesota's community associations and guide association boards through the many changes facing the industry. These include proposed changes in Minnesota Common Interest Ownership Act (MCIOA) and regulatory changes at Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA, whose impact will be felt industry-wide.
